Holiday Closure Notice

Our office will close over the holiday season from 5.30 pm Wednesday, 23 December 2020 and will re-open 9am Monday, 11 January 2021.  Our office will have people available to complete settlements, review new agreements and Immigration matters from Monday, 11 January 2021.
We will require 10 working day to respond for immigration matters.

Comprehensive visa changes allow onshore migrants to help fill labour shortages. Key points:

  1. Six-month extension for employer-assisted work visa holders
  2. Postponed stand-down period for low-paid Essential Skills visa holders
  3. Retain 2019 median wage of $25.50 per hour for immigration settings until at least July 2021
  4. Working Holiday visas extended by 6 months

How do I become an early childhood teacher in New Zealand?

To become a qualified registered early childhood teacher in New Zealand you must reach the requirements set out by Teaching Council Aotearoa New Zealand to receive Teacher Registration. 
Whilst it is not always necessary to have Teacher Registration to gain employment within an early childhood setting it is desirable. NZ Teacher Registration requires you to meet specific standards such as proving you are of good character, achieving a relevant qualification, and completing practical experience under the guidance of an experienced and fully registered teacher.

Calling all Truck Drivers – ESSENTIAL SKILLS WORK VISA 
Demand for logistics in infrastructure and construction is growing rapidly, thus more truck drivers are required on the field with Class 2, 4 and 5 Driver’s License. 

Below are some key highlights to see if you are eligible to apply for work visa under essential skills:
  1. As per ANSZCO, if you have Level 2 and Level 3 relevant qualification in truck driving, then you may qualify to apply.
  2. With all your records of achievements in learning, which will show your suitability to qualify
  3. You should be meeting the employer’s requirement along with ANZSCO to qualify 
  4. Duration of visa will be dependent on your wage rate, if you are being paid more than national median wage rate you will qualify for 3 years work visa else 6 months.
